General Chemistry Resources

  • Khan Academy - Chemistry
Khan Academy has created a collection of open videos explaining a number of concepts related to general chemistry. Each work is individually licensed.

  • LibreTexts - Chemistry
LibreTexts has created a chemistry library of resources, including texts, homework and worksheets, exemplars and case studies, as well as a bank of visualizations and simulations. Unless otherwise noted, the contents are licensed under Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-SA.

  • PhET Interactive Simulations
These simulations were created as part of an open initiative at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Licensed under Creative Commons CC-BY.

  • VR Molecules Pro
VR Molecules Pro is an interactive simulation illustrating molecule vibration and rotation modes for twenty-four different molecules. It allows users to create up to ten 'pages' of molecules, which can be combined with sound and text explanations to create a multi-media document. Licensed under a Creative Commons CC-BY-NC 2.5 Canada.
