Your topics in this course are multidisciplinary, meaning that scholars from different fields (including, but not limited to: sociology, political science, economics, gender studies, history, religion, etc.) are examining the same questions you are.
You should definitely use resources from sociology, but think about which other disciplines might be thinking about these ideas, as well.
