Tredway Library is one of many libraries that have research guides (sometimes referred to as "LibGuides") that cover a variety of subjects. This guide doesn't need to be the only place for you to look at to learn more (nor should it be!). Below are some suggestions of some research guides from other libraries that provide many resources and suggestions to learn more about either very broad or specific topics.

Anti-Asian racism and COVID-19
This guide, created by Jennifer Ho, provides an outline of anti-Asian racism, including how it ties with COVID-19.
Anti-Oppression
Guide from Simmons University that provides helpful resources and information about anti-oppression.
Anti-racist Resources
University of Denver libraries recently published this informative guide that has many different resources to learn from, including the "White Racial Identity Development framework."
The Antiracist Bookshelf
Guide created by the librarians at William and Mary's libraries about the "Books owned by William & Mary Libraries addressing systemic racism and ways to combat it." This guide provides a lot of recommendations as well as explains terms you hear a lot in the discussion about race and oppression.
Antiracist Praxis
Guide from American University that provides helpful resources and information about Antiracist Praxis.
Augie Reads 2019-2020: Between the World and Me
The Augie Reads pick for the 2019-2020 school year was Coates "Between the World and Me." This is the research guide created for that book and FYI 101 classes.
Augie Reads 2020-2021: When the Emperor Was Divine
The Augie Reads pick for the 2020-2021 school year was Otsuka's "When the Emperor was Divine." This is the research guide created for that book and FYI 101 classes.
Beyoncé's 'Lemonade' and Information Resources
Created by Decker Library's librarian, Jenny Ferretti, "this guide supports further research into Beyoncé's literary, film, and history references in her visual album 'Lemonade.'"
Black Lives Matter
Inspired by the Ferguson Resources page created by the librarians at University of Arizona, Gustavus Adolphus College created a research guide about Black Lives Matter.
The Dakota Access Pipeline: Native American Perspectives
Created by University of New Mexico's librarians Sarah Kostelecky and Kevin Brown, this guide "aims to provide Native American perspectives on the Dakota Access Pipeline, a 1,200 mile oil pipeline built through the land of the Standing Rock Sioux people and across the Missouri River which provides drinking water and water for agriculture for millions of Americans."
Juneteenth
This guide from the Prairie View A&M University Library gives an overview of Juneteenth and provides resources to learn more about this important day.
