The CPI conducts investigative journalism focused on "abuses of power, corruption and betrayal of public trust by powerful public and private institutions."
Committee to Protect Journalists
CPJ is an excellent resource for anyone interested in issues of press freedom and protection around the world. The site provides research and data on the freedoms of journalists in the US and international locations.
Electronic Frontier Foundation
The EFF promotes individual privacy and economic rights in the digital age. They keep a good eye on legislative action and news about copyright, privacy, access to information, Internet regulation and more.

This professional organization is dedicated to the advancement of visual journalism, its creation, practice, training, editing and distribution, in all news media and works to promote its role as a vital public service.
