Step One: Go to Journal, Magazine, & Newspaper Title Search. (FYI, this is also linked on the library's home page.)

Step Two: Search the title of the journal in which the article you want was published. This will not search for specific articles by title. It will only search the title of the journal!

Step Three: In the result list, you will see the date range(s) to which we have access from that journal. If your article was published within one of those date ranges, follow the corresponding link.

If the journal you need doesn't show up in the "Journal, Magazine, & Newspaper Title Search," or if we don't have access to the correct date, you can order individual articles through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
If you locate a book chapter in one of our databases, search Local holdings/I-Share to find a copy of the book to read. If Augustana does not own the book, and you only need that single chapter, you can also order the chapter through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
