Meditation and Leisure Resources

The Thomas Tredway Library offers several print and virtual resources that relate to the practices of meditation and mindfulness. For physical materials, we encourage you to use the LC Blue Sheets available at the main desk to identify appropriate call number areas, and then browse the Self-Care Collection (2nd floor) and 3rd floor stacks.

Relevant sections for meditation and mindfulness include:

  • BL - general religion
  • BQ - Buddhism

Taking time for leisure activities is also crucial for wellness and wellbeing. The library also offers a wide range of leisure materials and activities for community members to use, borrow, and enjoy. The following is a non-exhaustive list of the leisure collections available in the library:
