Library updatesThe Tredway Library has several updates to share with you, so please read the following information closely.
Before you leave campus for the break, please make sure to return anything you have checked out. This includes both Augustana items as well as I-Share items. If you still need to use anything, you can always renew it from your OneSearch account. Contact the Circulation Desk at x7310 if you have any questions.
Here's some good news in the COVID world regarding library items! Now, physical materials that have been checked out or touched in the library only need to be placed in quarantine for three days instead of a week. What does that mean for you? Library materials will be back on the shelves sooner (while still being safe)!
Lastly, Thanksgiving and winter break brings changes to our library hours. Make sure to check to see what times we're open!
Digital CommonsAs we near the end of the semester, Tredway Library would like to remind students and faculty that research conducted here at Augustana College can be shared in Augustana's Digital Commons. Our top student papers to date have been downloaded and read more than 10,000 times by scholars from around the world, and your research could be next. Submit your work to Digital Commons today!

OneSearch TutorialOneSearch has been the library's discovery tool for the last few months, but you may still have some questions about it. One of our Research Help Desk student workers, Cassie Karn, made a fantastic OneSearch tutorial to help you with the basics, such as searching for sources, narrowing your results, and saving your favorite items to your account.
Upcoming library eventsWith Thanksgiving quickly approaching and students leaving soon, we decided to postpone any events for the rest of the semester. However, make sure to follow us on our social media accounts to stay up to date with us!
Laundromat Library LeagueDo you have any children or young adult books at home that are gathering dust? Consider donating them to the Tredway Library's Laundromat Library League, located at the Rock Island Neighborhood Laundromat. Last year over 250 books were donated by the Augustana community! Drop any books to the box outside of María Emerson's office in the Tredway Library (Tredway 226). In keeping with standard library practices during COVID-19, donated books will be placed in quarantine for 3 days in order for them to be safely delivered and available at the laundromat.
