Alumni Resources

Special Collections has a wealth of information and resources that may be of particular interest to Augustana College alumni and their families.  This section of our website is a work in progress, and will continue to grow and feature new resources as they become available.  If you are planning a reunion or anniversary, Special Collections staff are always happy to help locate relevant material to support your event.  For assistance, please contact us at specialcollections@augustana.edu.

In many cases, the information you are seeking may be available to you online or in the main library collection.  In other cases, you may need to visit the Special Collections reading room to access the materials you need.  In all cases, Special Collections staff are ready to help point you in the right direction!

  • To get started with conducting your research, research guides may be useful for exploring key resources and collections.
  • Looking for old yearbooks or student newspapers so you can re-live your glory days?  Check out our Augustana Observer and Rockety-I digital collections!

For the Class of 1968's 50th reunion in 2018, and the Class of 1969's 50th reunion in 2019, Special Collections staff compiled "memory books" containing the front pages of every issue of the Augustana Observer from the fall of each class's freshman year to the spring of each class's graduation.  The PDF files are downloadable, and there are no restrictions on printing for class members wanting to have hard copies.  The files will print best on legal- or ledger-sized paper, and you may need to increase the margins if you would like to have the pages bound.
